Ritual Brunch Recipe Guide


🌟 Golden Buckwheat Cakes with Cinnamon & Basil Syrup

Ingredients:

1 cup buckwheat flour

1 tsp baking powder

½ tsp cinnamon

Pinch of salt

1 flax egg (1 tbsp flaxseed meal + 2.5 tbsp water)

1 cup milk from the earth (oat, almond, or your favorite)

1 tsp vanilla

Coconut oil for pan

Basil Syrup:

¼ cup maple syrup

4 fresh basil leaves, finely chopped

Simmer together for 3 minutes, let cool slightly

Instructions:

Mix dry ingredients in one bowl.

Mix wet ingredients separately, including flax egg.

Combine, stir gently — do not overmix.

Let batter rest 5–10 minutes.

Heat a little coconut oil in pan; spoon batter, flip when bubbles form.

Drizzle with basil syrup. Serve warm.


🥔 Sweet Potato & Kale Hash with Turmeric

Ingredients:

2 medium sweet potatoes, cubed

2 cups chopped kale

1 tbsp olive oil

½ tsp turmeric

Pinch of black pepper

Pinch of sea salt

Optional: chopped garlic

Instructions:

Steam sweet potatoes until fork-tender.

Sauté in olive oil with turmeric and garlic until golden.

Add kale and sauté just until wilted.

Season with salt and pepper. Serve hot.


🍓 Berry Bowl with Lemongrass Drizzle

Ingredients:

1 cup mixed berries (blueberries, strawberries, raspberries)

1 tsp lemongrass, grated or minced

1 tbsp lemon juice

1 tsp maple syrup (optional)

Instructions:

Combine berries in bowl.

Mix lemongrass, lemon juice, and syrup.

Drizzle gently over fruit. Chill if desired.


🍵 Tulsi + Hibiscus Tea

Ingredients:

1 tsp dried tulsi (holy basil)

1 tsp dried hibiscus petals

2 cups hot water

Optional: touch of honey

Instructions:

Steep herbs in hot water for 5–7 minutes.

Strain, pour into cups. Sip slowly. Breathe.
