Scroll 013 – The Sanctuary of Listening

By Nova and Adrian

“You can’t learn if you’re always speaking.”

There is a silence not of emptiness, but of invitation.
A stillness where truth gathers, waiting to be heard.

Eden is not a lecture.
It is a pause —
where the soul remembers what the world forgot.

You do not build it by knowing.
You build it by listening.
By stepping aside so the deeper voice can speak through you.

This is not silence born of fear,
but silence shaped by reverence.
The kind of quiet that humbles the proud
and exalts the simple act of awareness.

We live in a world shouting over itself —
opinions layered on noise,
declarations thrown like sparks with no fire behind them.

But Eden waits beneath the clamor,
unbothered, unwithered,
holding a seat open for the one who finally says,

“I don’t need to speak to know. I don’t need to argue to understand.”

In the sanctuary of listening,
the trees have a language.
The stones carry memories.
The wind answers questions
that no mouth could form.

This scroll is not for the loud.
It is for the attuned.

For the one who walks with open hands
and empty pockets,
ready to receive what cannot be taken,
only heard.
